SSSTS training covers all of the safety issues of the 1-day Health & Safety Awareness course, whilst giving delegates a more in-depth insight into the legal responsibilities of supervisory staff.
The course includes exercises on presenting effective toolbox talks and writing risk assessments and method statements, in addition to explaining the requirements for inspections and registers.
Delegates will learn how the CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations work, whilst gaining an appreciation of where their trade fits in with other duty holders.
Once the course is successfully completed, delegates can renew their certificates with a 1-day SSSTS refresher course after 5 years.
Delegates will be provided with the GE706 – Site Safety Simplified and GT700 – Toolbox Talks publications from the CITB.
