This HCS Safety half day course is designed for delegates who require clear understanding and a working knowledge of temporary works. The course provides essential knowledge and covers the following topics: Definitions and examples of temporary works Background and Origins of the British Standard for Temporary Works TW procedures explained TW roles explained Risk Levels and the TW Register HSE Enforcement expectations. The course is interactive and includes hands-on exercises to bring this subject to life. Delegates will leave with a solid understanding of the subject - this course will also act as an excellent introduction for those undertaking the 2 day CITB Temporary Works Coordinator course. Temporary works are a part of almost every construction project and the HSE expects this potentially high risk area to be well managed. Enforcement of Temporary Works is high on the target list for the regulator in the light of a number of recent incidents.
